DJ Idy first developed an interest in mixing music in 2006 at the age of 15, when he started off as a radio presenter for an online radio. Over the next two years, he gradually developed the basic skills to become a DJ and pursue this as a hobby on the side of his education and other parts of his life.

In 2008, DJ Idy kicked it off by starting a roadshow which brought him wider recognition in parts of the UK, especially the Midlands in which he was born and brought up in. As his status and skill grew in music, he began to specialise in various genres of music, including Hip-Hop, RnB, Dubstep, Bassline/4x4, and especially the types of music he is most passionate about, Bhangra, Desi and Bollywood!.

DJ Idy has also worked as a promoter as part of Dollar Entertainments, advertising various events around the Midlands and wider areas, and also making an appearance at them aswell. Recently he has progressed in music by learning the skill of music production, gaining positive feedback for his work when uploading to sharesites on the internet.

DJ Idy is now working independently as a DJ, and is also collaborating with many other DJs and producers from around the UK who specialise in various genres, also taking bookings for parties/weddings and events.
