Leicester, UK based artist Intencity drops his debut release on NexGen Music entitled 'Tomahawk' — an EP featuring five phat and phunky drum and bass bangers on the heavier side of the spectrum.

Title track 'Tomahawk' kicks off proceedings with horror film-like elements before breaking out into a funky roller containing a nice mix of old and new skool vibes. Creeper.

'Skullcap' follows suit with eerie intro vibes before unleashing a steppy jump-up roller with ultra crisp snare drums taking center stage. Added flavors include classic old-skool hip-hop/drum and bass breaks, funky filtered bass stabs, and twisted sound effects. Stomper.

'Heliograph' continues the dark undercurrents with sleazy forward steppin' drums transfused with rolling moody sub basslines pitched across multiple octaves. Rude filtered bass synths and stabs "bring da funk" with delightful effect. Surly.

'Hellion' advances the mysterious horror-film intro vibes before breaking out into proper 'armshouse' and mayhem. Jump-up drum breaks are cleverly overlaid with filtered bass stabs and high-pitched synths that cut right through mix (and your body too). Hostile.

'Tomahawk (VIP)' is an alternative mix of the title track. Just as creepy and funky as its doppelganger. Divergent.

This is the second collaboration of Intencity and Cyclic aka Intence Cycle. 
Both of them have a strong liking for Oasis which led to them setting out a remix from the band. 
'Soldier On' from the album 'Dig Out Your Soul' stood out as strong positive vibe for a Drum & Bass remix.
Intence Cycle moulded the track around Liam Gallagher's acapella, keeping his attitude and key throughout, and generated all the components of the track to match his vocal delivery which was very important to them!!
