Guys….I can’t even express how deeply this touched me…after a long day giving my best to help people in their musical journey, I got this. (Breathing here) The water in my eyes right now just reflects the joy of all your beautiful souls. Thank you all. Thank you individually, for every meeting and the lovely time we spent together, and more to come. It’s not being easy right now for me here, and I assume that might not be easy for you all too. Being with my parents here is a bless, but my home, my wife and some beloved friends live on the other side of the ocean. Every day, Bristol sounds more like Tolkien’s Valinor for me and Brasilia - Brazil like the shire once I lived and it’s not my place anymore…I’m here fighting every day, to come back as soon as possible. I miss you all, so take care in this Biblical moment we’ve been living on it. Thanks for the beautiful tune, I love you all <3

I really hope you guys enjoy these sounds. They were inspired by fun times and mystical scenarios. I've had some of these tracks for a while and I thought it was time to touch them up and give you all something for free due to the lack of releases, which I sincerely apologise for.

Back in January 2020, our friend and much loved Bristol-Brazilian musician Rafa had to leave his adopted home town at the ‘11th hr’.  Flying back to Brazil in the face of a draconian UK Visa regime, Rafa left a lasting impact.  This stemmed from his musicianship in LBJBs – the Leftbank Jam Band. 

Wanting to celebrate Rafa’s contributions and to show solidarity, a few regular jam musicians and working artists came together to offer a collective soundscape.   Cassie, Lydia, Tom, Jim and Ben. 

With the relentless help of Catnick’s studios, ‘at the 11 hr’ we also wanted to raise a tune to help Rafa’s endeavour to return.

Overtaken by the global events, and the Leftbank’s abrupt closure, we would like to extend our collective music to show solidarity with all hard-working musicians who now face uncertain times in Bristol and beyond.  In gratitude, we offer this in the spirit of Bristol’s music revival and on.
