Behrouz's Do Not Sit On The Furniture label looks back on an exceptional 2019 with this compilation of all the key tracks form their last 12 months. 

As well as their much talked about residency in Ibiza at Heart this summer, Do Not Sit continued to hold down the underground house sound they are so well known for back home in Miami, and made waves across the world with always deep, spiritual, journey sounds that make a true emotional impact. Here, the best tunes of 2019 are all served up to give a great overview of this most tasteful and considered label. 

There are gems like Seth Schwarz's 'Animals At The Watering Hole,' Modd's spine tingling Vishaya, Ruede Hagelstein's enchanting 'Dort' and the majestic melodies and cosmic vibes of 'Ventura' from Dee Montero. Elsewhere, Re.You takes you on a hypnotic house trip, desert house champs Death on the Balcony layer up superbly tender vocals and chords on two different contributions, and Miyagi, Wild Dark and El Mundo & Zazou all add to the deeply immersive feelings and heady grooves. 

This is a fine overview of one of house music's most vital labels.
