Citing diverse influences such as The KLF, Prince, the sort of left-field disco played by DJ Harvey and classic house producers like Mr. Fingers, Matthew Wasley aka Human Life produces catchy, potent electronic music with engaging vocals and strong song writing.

Originally from Boston, Human Life now lives in Los Angeles where he met Anabel Englund and the two became fast friends, soaking in the city’s underground warehouse parties together. "El Diablo“ (original version released on Win Music) marks the second collaboration of the pair, the first being their track "Falling“ which was released on Hot Creations in 2013. "El Diablo“ has lyrics influenced by Jim Morrison, harmonies reminiscent of The Beach Boys, and a deep, disco influenced production with an early 90’s touch. 

It was Sean Glass from Win Music NYC who sent the track to Shir Khan. The latter liked the original track so much that they both decided to give it some decent Exploited All Star Remix package. 

Now here are 4 different remixes for the club from Exploited mainstays Adana Twins and Joyce Muniz as well as friends Mia Dora and Hotlane.

Anabel Englund: "My friend Matthew Wasley (aka Human Life) introduced me to music like Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Kim Ann Foxman, Maya Jane Coles, Adana Twins and it all started from there. For the first time hearing it, I would say it sounded like sex. Good, dirty sex and I was hooked ever since.“

Human Life: "I would make her playlists every week to listen to. Adana Twins’ track "Everyday" was the soundtrack to many a car ride home. It's only fitting that now years later the Adana's have remixed our track "El Diablo“!“

Watergate welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on their latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Not done yet, we asked none other than the brilliant Andre Lodemann to create his revision of ‘Relentless feat. Jeep Kjellberg’ and he, as always, delivered big time. With not only one but two solid reworks of the original Lodemann’s remixes need no description other than there is a vocal and a dub version to satisfy any DJ’s sensibility. We hope you enjoy.

PREMIERE: Oliver Koletzki - Fire In The Jungle (Lunar Plane Remix) [Stil Vor Talent]

Rain Before Sunset is a brilliant two track EP by ascendant Italian producer Matteo Bruscagin, for the ever reliable Hanseatic powerhouse: Diynamic. "Rain" is a collaboration with his fellow countrymen Angelmoon, Visnadi and Danny Losito - the latter providing the captivating vocals which remain at the forefront of an evocative and immersive journey through dancefloor drama. Second offering "Sunset" is a more uplifting and optimistic affair, this one is exactly the kind of evocative and dreamy deep house that you could imagine the likes of Lee Burrdige playing on a downtown rooftop this season - and it's melody is irresistible.

Nils Koenig returns to Kittball Records with a bang. After hitting the KITTBALL KONSPIRACY VOL. 3 in 2011 with his chilled deep house wave „Tonight“, he finally rejoins the family with „HERE & NOW“.

Koenig teamed up with Knopfloch Kombinat to bring a true to style melodic deep house tune to the decks around the globe. Knopfloch Kombinat (Vatti Schindel & Shawn Elter) is a duo based in Soest (Germany) with a great history of releases on Hamburgs Moonboutique Records. All three are united by a lifelong love for the scene. 

The story of HERE & NOW begins at the start of this turbulent year. Backstage on a festival, Nils and Schindel found themselves philosophizing over melodies and harmonies. The stars aligned as they decided to take it to the studio where, two days later, HERE & NOW was born.

Amsterdam based Jarun is a deep house and tech house DJ and also working at his producing skills. Step by step Jarun is becoming a more household name in the Amsterdam DJ scene and this is not a coincidence. He won several talent races like Michel de Hey’s Kweekvijver and played at a great number of well known parties like CLiCK WesterUnie, DOK Amsterdam, Studio 80, Sugar Factory , Club NL, Beatclub, Cuebar and Barcode in Amsterdam, Click Festival in Zantvoort and Paard van Troje in The Hague. 

Jarun is able to connect a crowd, feel the atmosphere and make people party. His mix of deep house and tech house suits both intimate parties as well as bigger crowds. His performance is smooth and his sets are sexy and penetrating. Jarun is able to take any event to the next level and more and more people, both fans and bookers are starting to realize this.
