Mannymore & Orfa - Limbo

The lyrics of „Thunder and Lightning“ describe an intense, emotional moment of calm and connection amid a storm. The protagonist is sitting on a covered, dry terrace by the ocean, surrounded by natural sounds of wind and rain. Outside, thunder and lightning set the scene, while she enjoys a peaceful moment with a book and coffee. As the song progresses, this quiet scene turns into physical and emotional closeness with another person holding her hand, her heart beating in rhythm – symbolized by the „thunder and lightning.“ The core message is about staying present, holding on to that special, intense moment despite the external uncertainties and dynamics represented by the storm. The outro returns to calm, assuring that everything will be alright.

Jay Carpenter is one of Dublin’s best-known DJs and producers. He currently holds residencies at The Chalk Venue, Bingo Loco, and Eveleigh and has also had residencies at Cafe En Senie and Wright's Cafe Bar. He’s spun at Dicey Reilly's, Rouge Nightclub, Play, Penthouse, and Baroque, and has performed at Ultra Europe each of the last three years. He’s built an outstanding reputation as a house-rocking entertainer who can light up any club or event in the world. 

Carpenter also produces his own original tracks. He learned music production at Nightmaker Studios in Swords and has developed into an original artist who spends his time creating new tracks, bootlegs, and mashups that push his crowds over the edge. He also hosts a new weekly podcast called From The Bedroom To The Booth. He’s been pursuing his dream of becoming a professional DJ since he was 17 and has gone from spinning at local functions to working in some of the best clubs and festivals to be found.
