Gulabanza is part of the 6-track Ep Ekelekua. Is an interesting musical experience that wraps you up in a spiritual way. Afro-Cuban percussion starred by Iran Farias (El Menor), is present and very decisive in Dj Jigüe's baroque and futuristic experimentation process. Conga Santiaguera’s rhythms (a traditional folkloric phenomenon of Santiago de Cuba city) are performed by typical drums of that centennial institution. Galleta accompanies the Kick, and the Quinto improvises an identical drumming style to the massive Conga Santiaguera. Galactic atmosphere and folkloric vocal elements are sensory present, reminding us the rhythmic richness left by an indissoluble connection between Cuba and Africa over and over again

Sombras is part of the Ekelekua EP. The single is a complement of dark and experimental electronic sounds. The Groove is accompanied by Afro-Cuban percussion, present in each of Dj Jigüe's productions, played by Iran Farias (El Menor).
The magic of the single comes with the interpretation of Julio Rigal's trumpet. A distinctive element is the theme that Jigue explores for the first time in his productions. It is a sonic delight that takes us to another dimension through Jazz, Cuban popular music, all in perfect harmony with the rest of the electronic and percussive elements.Sombras is part of the Ekelekua EP. Ekelekua, the single that gives the Ep its name, marks the difference in terms of the use of percussion in Jigüe's productions. Despite of other songs, this time, Jigüe conceives congas as a percussive melodic instrument. A sonorous joy that was masterfully assumed by Iran Farias (El Menor) who in turn performed all the percussions of the Ep. The second part of the subject is carried out by the daburca; with her characteristic sound, takes us to the Middle East, on the mixture of mystical voices and digital atmosphere, to announce the universe that we are ready.

Well known for his sound journeys through the roots of Afro-Cuban and Caribbean music, Dj Jigue surprises us with a new single that reinterprets one of the most iconic paintings in Cuban art history, 'La Gitana Tropical'. Painted by Victor Manuel in 1929, it is perhaps the most reproduced image in Cuban art, and is also called the Latin American Gioconda, a symbol of Cuban identity. DJ Jigue, a major proponent of 'afrofuturismotropical', finds inspiration through it. Dj Jigue continues to tell us new stories, as he did before with the single “Rive”, taking inspiration from the history of Haitian slaves in Cuba. The freshness of tropical sounds mixed with Afro-Cuban percussion reveals another journey, spiritual and millennial, that started in India, passed through Spain and finally arrived in the Caribbean, leaving traces in our lives and enriching those cultural connections that define us today.
