By the late ’90s, what had started as an approach to DJing had morphed into an actual genre, with certain musical rules and boundaries. During the mid-to-late ’90s first golden age of euro/house, various U.K. labels staked out their interpretation of the sound, and Bassline house had taken over.
My journey through these old school house dance hits provides not only nostalgia but inspiration for me. This history keeps repeating itself, making it worth my time to explore & re educate myself. Compiling, mixing, and playing the best 90s House remixes has been a remarkable experience.
