‘444’, flips the Jay Z song of the same name. This is the first single from my debut EP, ‘For Those Before’. Following consistent praise on his earlier work from the likes of Jaguar, Jenny Greene, Nialler9 and Hot Press Magazine, POSER switches up from his trademark lofi sound for an upbeat, joyous disco house and UKG cut. Taking the original sample of the song, ‘Late Nights & Heartbreaks’ by Hannah Williams and the Affirmations, POSER leans into his influences of garage for the start of the song before bringing in four to the floor drums for a chorus that is guaranteed to light up any dancefloor.

I'm really into the chiptune stuff at the moment, so making a fair bit of it whilst I seem to be having so much fun writing it.

This one is actually more of a full track than the last thing I did, it mixes classic authentic NES chip sounds more modern drums and bass sounds. Hope you like!
