Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano have come together to serve up a very personal remix of the hugely influential self-titled classic by Age Of Love. It lands on the original Belgian label Diki Records on August 13th.

Age Of Love wrote and released their most iconic track in 1990. It went on to become a stone-cold dance classic that inspired a whole trance movement that has endured throughout the years. 

The idea to remix 'Age Of Love' started taking shape when KNTXT boss Charlotte was in lockdown with esteemed Italian techno artist Enrico at the end of February last year. As soon as the track was finished, it was played in several live streams and the online community quickly fell in love. The remix bears all the hallmarks of both producers, who between them have a number of Beatport hits and have crafted everything from the darkest drums to the most emotional synths to great effect.

Say Charlotte and Enrico, "It's a very meaningful track for both of us, for various reasons, and it brings back many joyful memories. Remixing such a legendary track was a super fun thing to do, but we noticed how easily and spontaneously we could work together in the studio. We are beyond excited to finally unleash our remix to the world. And this at a time where the world finally seems to be going back to normal. There is no better time for a New Age Of Love. 'Age Of Love' (Charlotte de Witte & Enrico Sangiuliano Remix) is a big, driving techno roller. It has heavyweight drums and stripped back percussion which leaves plenty of room for the ionic synth lead and spine-tingling vocals to ring out and really work the crowd into a trance. 

This fantastic remix brings a new perspective to one of dance music's most celebrated and influential tracks.

Lamana's pulsating acidline plus a warm melodie with an array of layers are definitely working well on the dancefloor! Vesperi impresses with a dark atmosphere which is perfect for the more soulful moments ! HI-LO, the techno alter-ego of Oliver Heldens debuts on Drumcode with a full-force two-tracker ‘Hypnos’. Unbeknown to many, the Dutch future house star has been cultivating a love of techno separate from his mainstage persona. As HI-LO, he’s remixed Nina Kraviz’s ‘Skyscrapers’ and released on Octopus and Filth on Acid, the latter consisting of collaborations with Reinier Zonneveld, T78 and Will Clarke. 
Over the last 12 months, HI-LO has become the sixth highest selling Techno artist on Beatport, as well as cemented his place as a top streaming act in the genre.

His Drumcode debut ‘Hypnos’ is effective and infectious in equal doses. The title track is led by a catchy bass groove that espouses plenty of personality and is a handy tool for building energy throughout the night. ‘Hera’ is a straight-edged euphoric gem, driven by an uplifting key riff throughout.

Amelie Lens’ event series / label hybrid sets the pace for the rest of the year with a formidable lineup of artists on this compilation, soon to be followed with the Exhale family debuting its party series in none other than the revered DC10 in Ibiza this summer.

Label head Amelie Lens opens with her signature vocals in the fiery but haunting ‘All Of You’ and is followed by three formidable producers. Dark techno dynamo Proxyma continues with breakneck speed with ‘Schwarze Funktion’, while Basswell’s composition ‘Troublemaker’ injects a mischievous energy. Caravel follows with textural banger ‘Queen of Darkness’, armed with volatile keys and a warbling, warped bassline.

Exhale mainstay Farrago is up next with tight percussion and slick sound fragments dancing around the harder elements of his production ‘Hard Dimension’. Berlin’s Mython contributes ‘Double Defender’, a driving cut with a muscular groove and walloping bass. Taking the reins next is Arma, who uses rave stabs, reverbs and metallic synths to create eerie stomper ‘Seraphin’. Krl Mx doesn’t hold back with sinister synths and a ferocious kick & bass combo in galloping cut ‘Before I Forget Your Voice’. Roüge contributes ‘Ratchet’ - a gut-punching track with a grizzly bassline and melodic bleeps.

On the last leg of the record, with ‘I’m From 1994 Dude’ Nico Moreno features a true Moreno production with industrial elements and a slamming acid sequence. ‘What U Get’ by Ley Mar is next with scuffed metal textures, minimal rave stabs and rumbling, dark synths. X-Alox picks up the pace with ‘260%’ an energetic weapon with chaotic drum sequences and a sharp sliced-up vocal breakdown at the mid-way point. Lucinee & Lifka team up for galactic track ‘In Rage’, with an echoed vocal hook, resounding alarm and rolling kick drum. On a high with spiking synths, stretched out melodies and a pulsating kick that entrances listeners down to the final beat Swart lastly closes the compilation.
