Inspired by my friend Kostis and the influence of the Blackout Crew, I set out to blend the essence of Rembetiko with our rhythms.

My aim was to translate the raw emotionality and social commentary that are rooted in the tradition of Rembetiko into the language of Hip-Hop, to build a bridge between eras and cultures.

The artist "Negros tou Moria" has played a key role in this. His track inspired me and showed how music has the ability to cross cultural boundaries and tell the universal stories of struggle, survival, and solidarity that thrive in the lives of the underprivileged, immigrants, and marginalized groups.

With my latest work, I want to continue this dialogue and at the same time pay respect to the roots.
It's about more than music – it's an expression of our constant companions, our challenges, and our indomitable strength.

After a few years of spinning these songs in different places in Europe or Asia i decide to upload this " Hip-Hop " Live Mix for our Scene and share these songs to all those Dancer's who gave me all the love and energy on my travels. 

The style of this mix is very Electronic and has nothing to do with the typical thing we call " Basic ". For this Mix i took my influences and elements from the Trap scene. Thats one of the reasons why its full of that 808 Bass Shit. 

I hope you will enjoy this as much as I enjoyed it while it was recorded.

This Mixtape was recored in a Back 2 Back live Session from @DjSlowz ( Hanoi / Vietnam ) and Just-A-Kid ( Oldenburg / Germany ) in Aarhus / Denmark.

After a crazy DJ session at Battle of the Year Malaysia in 2015 - we decide to make a Mixtape together. We created it after we went digging in random Record Store in somewhere in Penang. It contains strictly Traditional Asian Funk & Disco Music - we didn't Edit or Remixed any of these Songs.
