Re-record of my set from 'It's About Music' in Portsmouth at Moonshine Club on Friday 11th March 2022 - with the addition of Fudgeeeey as I didn't get a chance to play it on the night. It's actually the first time I've played some of my newer tunes out in a club so was nice to hear them loud and see people enjoying them. it's also been over 2 years since I've played out out! Lockdown Legends - Strike Raid Train - 6th August 2022

I had the idea to record a mix with some of my older favourite hard trance tunes that reminded me of the old Frantic days when I started clubbing and djing in London, then I threw in some  bootlegs, then it turned into adding some hard house tunes with trance vocals/riffs, then some hard house with pop vocals crept in, then a donkier tune somehow slipped in, then I just let it become a random melodic ride with old and new merging! 

Been a private mix for over a year which a few of my friends have enjoyed, I was never planning to make it live, but it's inspired by Frantic and got some absolute bangers on it... so decided ahead of my set B2B with Dawn Lee, for Frantic presents Positive State @ XOYO in Birmingham Sept 2024 to let it out into the wild! Re-record of my after hours Silent Disco set at 'The Beat Goes On' micro-festival in Wales in May. First time playing a silent disco and it was a whole lot of fun especially as I was up against someone else on stage as well!!  Was nice to play a bit harder, although I have kept on the vocal tip. Starchart is the first tune I ever worked on back in the mid-2000s with the late, great, Jamie 'Tik Tok' Taylor on the controls. 

We never sent this to any labels as it was the time when vinyl was on the decline and digital labels were still finding their feet. I wasn't really sure where would be the best home for it, wanted to keep it special for a while, then my sound changed in the years just after and I had a break from djing.

When I heard the news of Jamie's untimely passing I was taken back to when we became friends, then to this, the first tune we made together, and the mad times we had in the years after. I love this tune, it reminds me of Jamie and I want to share it.
