Starting the year off with my dj mix submission for the chance to play at Gem & Jam this February in Tuscon, Arizona! I wanted to really focus on showcasing femme/gender expansive artists for this mix and highlight the awesome music that is being put out by the likes of Octo Octa, Sara Miller, DESIREE, Jorkes, Lauren Lo Sung, and JAMIIE. 2024 gem & jam femme house contest- DJ kaits mix

Join me for a cloudy no sky July day on the beach in Santa Monica, California for a free flowing mix of some vibey organic, melodic, and deep house.   A lot of these are free download tracks I scoured Soundcloud for when I first started DJing.  So many people are making great music and I love getting to play their tracks in such a beautiful location.

Recording my sets in public is way more fun than I anticipated.  I love all the little interactions I get to have with people who pass by or ask about what I'm doing.  A huge shout out to my sister bestie and bestie for helping with set up, the German guys visiting the US for the chat about music, and the lifeguard camp for the background dance moves. melodic house mix in the PNW

Hi hi!  Here’s an excerpt from my gig at Gin Rummy Bar in Venice, California this past weekend (9/21/2024).  I kept it groovy, deep, and jazzy to open up the evening.  The crowd was vibing and buzzing about.  However, I will never live down the fact that I missed the opportunity to play Earth, Wind, and Fire.  🥲

Gin Rummy is a really fun place to play and I’m looking forward to spinning tunes there again soon!

Hard to believe it's been just over one month since Affirm Records hosted late night affirmations at Catch One LA.  Still basking in the light that everyone shared on the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning, which has been rather helpful, especially during these darker and uncertain times.  

Gentle reminders to: Reach out to your neighbors/friends/family/strangers.  Dance to connect with yourself and others.  Take care of each other and lend a helping hand when you can.
