Moonlight Energy é o nome de um projeto de House envolvendo todas as suas subvertentes. Eu começei o projeto em 2009 e atualmente ele se encontra na sua sexta edição. Nesta edição em especial o set ficou bem mais Progressive House do que para as outras vertentes, eu fiz ele especialmente para a divulgação de uma gig. A tracklist vocês podem conferir abaixo... DJ Kanto - Moonlight Energy 5: A New Dawn

         Pedro Canto born in Curitiba/Brazil at 20/10/1991 began his passion for electronic music early, still a child he already bought electronic music CDs like TranceNation and TechnoHits, having since this age the preference by melodic energy sounds. Looking getting deeper in the world of music he already went to guitar, bass and drums classes. Creating a solid base and full of theories which would help him later on the learnings and techniques of mixing and musical production.
          He lived in Curitiba until 2006 when he moved to Balneário Camboriú the national capitol of the e-music. Fascinated by the famous DJs that came to the city and the night clubs he gave continuity to his passion by the e-music he bought some DJs programs like Virtual DJ and Tracktor and started at home his firsts tracks and DJ sets. Having a preference by more melodic sounds he fell in love with Trance, more precisely the EuroTrance, with influences on his mixing and tracks of DJs and producers such as: Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Fred Baker, Orjan Nilsen, Gareth Emery and many more… He began to really like the DJ thing and bought a pair of CDJs and a mixer looking to get deeper and deeper on the techniques and theories of the e-music. On the need of a professional help he decided to take classes of musical production and mixing on AIMEC (International Academy of Electronic Music), achieving the graduation on both courses his sets had some huge improvements of quality and than he began a monthly program named Tranceforming The World where the new Trance tendencies and all new releases are mixed into a one hour set that has the DJ Kanto's magic, energy and vibration. His tracks did also had a huge improvement on quality, he already has an album project named Chrome Energy and his tracks can be heard on his myspace.
            After so much study his efforts were finally rewarded, in 2008 at a contest where more than 450 DJs from all over the country were participating named “Jägermeister DJ Contest” he reached the second stage. Also in 2008 due to his sets and mixing techniques he was indicated by the AIMEC Awards and the web site www.egralha.com as Revelation DJ.
  
            Always looking to get better DJ Kanto began to study, listen an put into his sets other e-music styles such as House and Progressive-House. Going from producers as Gui Boratto, Mark Knight and Funkagenda to Deadmau5, Booka Shade, D-Nox & Beckers. Currenly he plays both styles Trance and House on his sets, making them unique, full of energy and with melodies from all over the globe, creating a unique felling on the dancefloor. Going from Minimal to EuroTrance DJ Kanto is for sure a full success in every club!

         Pedro Canto nascido no dia 20 de Outubro de 1991 em Curitiba começou o seu gosto por música cedo, ainda criança já comprava cds de música eletrônica como o TranceNation e TechnoHits, tendo já desde essa época a preferência por sons mais melódicos e cheios de energia. Procurando se aprofundar mais ainda no mundo da música frequentou aulas de guitarra, baixo e bateria. Formando uma base sólida cheia de teorias facilitando na aprendizagem e técnicas de discotecagem e produção musical.
           Morou na capital paranaense até 2006 quando se mudou para Balneário Camboriú capital nacional da música eletrônica. Fascinado pelos DJs famosos que vinham a cidade e as mais variadas casas noturnas deu continuidade a sua paixão pela música eletrônica e comprou programas de DJ como Virtual DJ e Tracktor  começou em casa as primeiras produções e sets. Tendo como preferência sons mais melódicos se apaixonou a primeira vista com o Trance, mais precisamente o EuroTrance, tendo em seus sets e produções influências de: Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Fred Baker, Orjan Nilsen entre outros... Começou a pegar gosto realmente pela coisa e foi quando comprou um par CDJs e um mixer procurando se aprofundar sempre mais e mais nas técnicas e na teoria da música eletrônica. Foi assim que, sentindo a necessidade da uma ajuda de um profissional da área decidiu fazer os cursos de discotecagem e produção musical na AIMEC (Academia Internacional de Música Eletrônica). Formado nos dois cursos seus sets tiveram um salto gigantesco de qualidade, começando então um programa mensal chamado Tranceforming The World onde as novas tendencias do trance e os mais novos lançamentos são mixados em sets de uma hora com a magia, a energia, e a vibração que marcam os sets desse DJ. Também teve um grande aumento da qualidade em suas produções onde já tem um projeto de álbum chamado Chrome Energy e algumas de suas produções podem ser ouvidas no seu myspace. 
          Após tanto estudo e suor seus esforços foram recompensados, em um concurso onde reuniu mais de 450 DJs de todo o brasil conseguiu em 2008 chegar até a segunda etapa do “Jägermeister DJ Contest”. Também em 2008 em mérito de seus sets e técnicas de mixagem foi um dos indicados pela AIMEC Awards e pelo site www.egralha.com como DJ Revelação.
          Sempre procurando evoluir DJ Kanto começou a se aprofundar em outro gêneros especialmente House e Progressive-House. Indo de produtores como Gui Boratto, Mark Knight, Funkagenda até Deadmau5, Booka Shade e D-Nox & Beckers. Atualmente ele mescla os dois estilos Trance e House em seus sets, tornado-os únicos, cheios de energia e com melodias das mais variadas partes do planeta, criando climas únicos na pista. Indo do Minimal ao EuroTrance DJ Kanto é certeza de casa e pista lotadas!
