Pünktlich zum 1. Advent gibt es diesmal einen leckeren Beitrag vom guten @shaun-he .

Mit 16 Jahren entdeckte Shawna seine Begeisterung für elektronische Musik und verbrachte daraufhin viel Zeit im provisorisch eingerichteten Homestudio mit einem seitdem stetig wachsenden Konvolut aus Maschinen und Klangerzeugern.

Auf seinem ersten Release „1996“ spielte er neben dem Drumcomputer und den Synthesizern auch die Gitarrenspuren und Percussions live ein. Das Ergebnis waren melodische, überwiegend sanfte, aber auch tanzbare Stücke.

Heute steht Shawna für groovigen, drückenden Sound. Oft düster und minimalistisch, ist er dennoch seinen melodischen Wurzeln treu geblieben. 
Diese Attribute finden sich auch in seinen DJ-Sets wieder, in denen er das Beste aus Tech-House, Melodic- und Minimal-Techno vereint.

Seine nächsten Releases erscheinen am 30. Dezember auf den Labels Music4Aliens und Music4Clubbers.

Big Bells Records proudly celebrates a milestone with its 100th release – Reincarnation, a Progressive House journey crafted by German producer Monuloku, with a stellar remix by label favorite Chris M.

Reincarnation marks Monuloku's debut on Big Bells Records, but his musical story runs deep. Behind the Monuloku project is Sven Seib, a veteran producer from Darmstadt, Germany, whose career began in 1995 with Trance productions that found airplay on the renowned German station Sunshine Live. Over the years, Sven's sonic identity evolved — from the hypnotic drive of Trance to the refined grooves of Minimal, Deep, and Progressive House — resulting in the creation of Monuloku.

On Reincarnation, Monuloku delivers a rich, atmospheric Progressive House experience — lush textures, deep basslines, and a hypnotic melodic flow that invites both dancefloor movement and introspective listening. The original is complemented by a remix from Chris M, the Indonesian-born, progressive craftsman whose previous Big Bells releases have established him as a label mainstay. Chris M reimagines the track with his signature deep progressive touch, layering warm harmonics and subtle rhythmic shifts for a captivating late-night interpretation.

Release No. 100 is not just a number — it's a statement of the label's journey and commitment to underground electronic music. Reincarnation encapsulates the sound Big Bells Records has become known for: melodic, immersive, and timeless.
