BSS Monthly Mixtape VOL.2: KEENO [EXPLICIT]

John “DJ Keeno” Huang a.k.a. Kid Keeno is no child when it comes to manning the decks. Having started as roadie for his DJ friend in high school, Keeno has since risen to become one of the most popular open-format DJs in the St. Louis area. As both a dancer and a disc jockey, Keeno has the skills, technique and musical intuition to make any crowd go crazy. Spinning only the best in hip-hop/rap, electro/house, club/top 40, as well as funk & soul, DJ Keeno is your go-to-guy for one insane dance party. He has spun at many of STL’s top nightlife spots including, Lotus, Horizon’s, Shiver Lounge, The Pepper Lounge, RUE13, The OZ Nightclub, Jade Lounge, Atomic Cowboy, LURE, plus many more and has held residencies at Dante’s, Bar AB, 609 Lounge, Club F15teen, Mandarin Lounge and The Coliseum. 

Aside from the nightlife circuit, Keeno has opened for and shared stages with international acts such as Kid Cut Up, RJD2, Jay Sean, Shwayze, Major Lazer and Wale. He was a finalist in the Sunday Night Remix, an open-format midwest DJ competition in which he placed in the top 3 out of 32 DJs as well as an invited competitor at the first ever Rane 62-Battleground event. He also runs JLS Audio Services, a mobile DJ service that provides audio entertainment for campus events, house parties, formal dances, and weddings in the Midwest.

Recently, DJ Keeno was handpicked as an official entertainer for the prestigious Scratch DJ Academy and has spent worked aboard Royal Caribbean International and Disney Cruise lines as the headlining guest DJ. Additionally, Keeno was inducted into Basement Sound System, one of the top DJ/producer collectives in the Midwest.
