The Brazilian-Finnish was born in Rio de Janeiro the city where the mix of musical genres are part of the local culture; the perfect environment to the birth of new sounds and trends such as the Vanguard Music.

In mid 90’s – although being underage - Kaarlo was already member on the events from the Underground Circle which were also the pioneers of the House Music Culture in Rio as well as in Brazil. So, his influences were being formed at the same pace the new genres’ come up and evolved. From Garage to Hard Techno, from Electro to Acid and Trance, his musical researches would never end. His style can be understood as the merging of all the sound experience acquired during this transition period that deeply marked the World Contemporary Phonographic Industry.

In 2003, Kaarlo as DJ KEER, was resident at Rio’s most famous clubs: Bunker and Dama de Ferro besides his live performances on several cities and large national events such as: Rio Love Parade (2003), Fashion Rio (2004) and Chemical Music Festival (2005). Kaarlo’s international’s career got started in Argentina and it didn’t take much till it was expanded to the European continent where countries like Germany and Finland have contributed to the consolidation of his artistic career once the search for his improvement has enhanced him and pointed to a promising future.

His hypnotic Deep Dark style has taken all techno lovers to its ecstasy besides opening path to the new trends as well as influencing the upcoming generations of Contemporary Electronic Music lovers and professionals. The essence of his magic is to feel his audience in his heart and the music in his soul.
