this is a set i prepared to open for Solvent.  i knew that as the doors opened VAC would be quiet with the crowd growing as the time of the show approaching.  i took the opportunity to play some of the sound construction pieces i've made over the last few years that require more attentive listening.then, the set transitioned into tracks that gradually lead up to the brilliant performance by Solvent with no sharp edges, not overshadowing his sound.  set ended by slowly pulling down the music and letting the birds chirp all by themselves while Solvent took the stage ... seamless.
