We are pleased to announce the 11th official release from GR Recordings: Clubs EP from Seoul based producer LOBOTOME. He has previously created a remix for label mate Naaah's EP with another alias dBoi!. This new EP consists of 4 tracks that blend LOBOTOME's personal style with garage, downtempo, and 2-step elements. The EP also features 2 high-quality remixes from Korean producer h4rdy @xhrdy and theoria @theo-ria . This EP provides an insight into Korean club culture and the nightlife music scene.

Hey folks! Been putting this one together for the last 6 months and now I’m finally ready to unleash Strange Brew 3!  For the 3rd installment of this series, I tried to stay true to the formula of super quick mixes spanning multi-musical genres.  There’s 40 tracks in just under 45 minutes of play time. Of course there’s gotta be some trap stuff, a smidgen of classic rock, couple retro tracks and a lotta French sounding dance music. Shout outs to Esoteric & Nina Sky for the new drops, Alfredo Rico-Dimas for the art, Will C for the mastering and my man Jiggy for always sending tracks my way. So here it is!! Enjoy!

STRANGE BREW 3

Solid Steel (5th April) In keeping with our celebratory year, we have Marcus Maack aka Vinylizer opening the show this week. He was one of the first people to syndicate Solid Steel in the late nineties in Germany and had his first mix featured on the show in 1999, as well as playing at the London Solid Steel club night in 2004. He sets up nicely with 'Story of the heaviest bassline' and into James Blake, a footwork marathon featuring Chrissy Murderbot, DJ Rashad and Cadenza, plus classic Missy Elliot, Dawn Day Night and recent guest Om unit.
You can catch Marcus playing alongside DJ Food and DK tonight 5th April at the legendary Mojo club in Hamburg.

DK switches the tempo with Dobie ripping up Lafayette Afro Rock Band. Then it's another cut from Romare, an album track from Bonobo and L-Vis 1990 putting his stamp on legendary Galaxy 2 Galaxy. We close with new music from Mr Beatnick and an African double with Owiny Sigoma Band and Orchestre Poly-Rythmo De Cotonou reissued by the excellent Analog Africa.
