Here's another instalment of my series focussing on one particular artist, producer or record label and this time I've chosen one of my all time faves - The 6th Borough Project. Ever since I've discovered the underground disco and house scene I think I've rarely played a set that doesn't contain one of their tracks or remixes, such is the staying power of their productions. Fingerman ♥︎'s The 6th Borough Project

Slow Mo Lounge and its founder, Kongisto, are back with their 3rd global mixtape collab for 2025 with none other than super-producer and DJ, Rayko, super-label head honcho at Rare Wiri, all the way in Madrid, Spain. 

Rayko starts with an unforgettable one-hour and thirty-minute showcase of all his own edits produced over the years to the present day, from new, unreleased, and unshazamable nu-disco edits to Rare Wiri exclusives, a global first for the Slow Mo Lounge. 

South Africa's Kongisto plays the rest, serving newly released slow-mo, hidden gems and classic scorchers that have brought heat to dancefloors globally through the decades.

Based in the beautiful and vibrant city of Madrid, Spanish DJ and producer extraordinaire, Rayko, has been a leading light in the clubbing scene around Europe and beyond, since he founded his magnificent Rare Wiri label in 2008 where he has released some of the most notable names out like Daniele Baldelli, Prins Thomas, Hot Toddy, Man Parrish, Eric Duncan plus many others.  

Rayko's endless production catalogue is quite impressive, which includes releases on major labels like Midnight Riot, Editorial Records, Astrolead Recordings, Spicy US, Spa Club, Boite Music, Whiskey Disco, Get Down Edits, Nang, Eskimo, Is it Balearic?  Lumberjacks in Hell, Glenview US, Audaz, Spa In Disco, Hotbox Boogie, Thunder Jam, and a lot more.
