What would Christmas be without presents? Slow Mo Lounge is back with the 7th annual 'Festive Disco' and for the first time (ever) it features an international producer and deejay. 

This time it features the non-smoking, 5'11", spotlight-avoiding music producer, crate digger, rare DJ but all-round music aficionado, originally from the UK's East Midlands but currently living in the Middle East, YSE Saint Laur' Ant.

He plays a slow-burning, genre-bending 45-minute set, followed by Slow Mo Lounge (South Africa) founder, Kongisto.

The mix begins with 45 minutes of original samples, soul, hip hop, rarities, nu jazz, loops and weirded-out samples over hypnotic shuffles - breezy, disco-drenched yacht rock.

After 45 minutes, Kongisto, plays household favourite slow-burners, 2023 released disco edits, and unreleased edits, collected from some of the best genre-based producers around the globe.

Popular for his smash hit, ‘Warm Wind Brewing’ and ‘I Own The Boogie’ off his 2013 EP, ‘Beards’, YSE Saint Laur’ Ant’s credits include labels like Whiskey Disco, Editorial, Pressed For Time, Vinyl Only, Swedish Brandy, Lost My Dog, Ornate Music, City Fly, Pickpocket, and Blockhead Recordings (to name a few).

This man is a giant producer and his musical ability is telling of the accolade and prestige.

He plays for a soulful genre-bending hour, followed by Slow Mo Lounge (South Africa) founder, Kongisto.

After 1 hour, Kongisto plays slow-burning 90s and modern-day hip hop trippy instrumentals, in between brand new slow mo, nu-disco and disco edits, that have made a debut in 2025, from some of the best genre-based producers around the globe.

one of the first dope beats i made. found this one from 2014. sampled Summer Madness by Kool and the Gang. Wild thing about this beat is that I actually had to remake this whole beat again after the first computer i made it on crashed. I was so bummed out I had to remake it, but I did it anyway because it was so proud of the beat and I just learned how to cut samples in FL so I re made it. From what I remember it was slightly different than the first beat I made and that kinda pissed me off at the time because I wanted it to be exactly as the original one that was lost. In the end i liked the beat a lot. Listening back at this now, it's imperfections, they feel so nostalgic. Takes me back
