And so it goes... another amazing year behind the decks at DISTRIKT, closing out the week with all of you on Saturday at sunset, it's always so special share that set with all of you.  The momentum of the week having built up to a fever pitch and thousands of you come down to dance that last set with me to finish up your week before the burn.  I feel privileged that you choose to spend that final sunset on the playa with me. 

Your energy on the dance floor this year was so incredible, that I could feel it radiating from each and every one of you and I think this live mix shows that.  It gets going right out of the gate and doesn't stop.  It's a fun, upbeat mix of Tech House, Techno and Progressive and of course, closing out the last hour with some classics and fun stuff, just to make sure you feel good going home... here's all 3.5 hours.

Thank you so much to my awesome friends at the Nutz Camp for hosting me and having me grace their decks for this magical sunrise set on Wednesday morning.  

This mix features tracks from all over the musical genre spectrum.  New, old, classics, hits, etc etc.  It's a fun journey that really made for a special morning with the sun coming up from behind the mountains. (for reference, I played Future Sound of London's "Papua New Guinea" for the sunrise…in my opinion, the perfect desert sunrise track).

Here's all 5.5 hours in it's unedited entirety, although I did chop out the silence in the spots where the power to the decks was kicked out…3 times!  I hope this takes you back to a beautiful playa sunrise.

It only took 6 months, but I'm finally uploading my sunrise set at the NUTZ Camp from Burning Man 2014.  As with 2013, it's a mix of all sorts of music, from House and Progressive to Classics.  This year, I was joined by my good friend John Early (starting around the 2 hour mark) for a tag team set and it was a lot of fun taking it back with some nice classic House tracks.  It's an unedited 4:41 minutes, hope you enjoy!  Sorry, no track listing on this one, things got a little messy that morning... ;)

It only took 4 months, but I have finally found the time to master and release my DISTRIKT Closing Party set from 2015.  It was another amazing year out on the playa, with some incredible highs and one very sad low.  It is interesting how every year eventful things seem to happen when you are out there in the desert, both good and bad.  And the fact that it is aways such a different experience every year, is really the beauty of it.  And for me, being away from day to day realities of work and stress helps me remember the importance of the relationships, community, art and music in my life.  That is why this closing set at DISTRIKT, 8 years in a row now, is the highlight of my year.  Looking out over a sea of smiling faces, not caring about anything but the music and the dance floor and that very moment in time.  I hope that this set takes you back to that place.
