Submitted my 20 Years of Anjuna mix to Anjunabeats. This mix means a lot to me. I've been listening to Above & Beyond since 2004, when I heard what would become my favorite record of all-time, Satellite.

Anjunabeats 20 Years Mix Contest

Welcome to my 20 Years of Anjunabeats Fan Contest submission! It's the first time I have ever mixed tracks into a continuous mix like this, so don't be too hard on me. I learned Ableton really fast to make this happen, and I'm pretty proud of the result.

I also wanna thank Anjunabeats and all the wonderful artists for sharing with us all the beautiful music we've enjoyed over the years. I found the label during a pretty chaotic time in my life, and I'm so grateful that I did. Anjunabeats gives me motivation in my darkest times, and a soundtrack of celebration when things go well. Also, I must mention my favorite Anjunabeats release, which is Andrew Bayer's album In My Last Life. It has considerably changed the way that I listen to and appreciate music. I never thought that I would find a body of work that is so profound, unique, and emotional. The record is a masterpiece from beginning to end, and I recommend it to my friends often (you should as well).

"I started out mixing after spending countless hours listening to Vol. 11, with the transition between 'Hello' and 'Satellite' stuck in my head. Many years later, from the day I began mixing, I've accumulated different mixing styles from listening to Anjuna sets and recreating them in my head and on the decks. Hello my name is DJ Liver like Oliver without the „o“ and you are listening to my AUDIOBIOGRAPHY

My older brother showed me electronic music by Blank & Jones, Atb, Schiller, Kai Tracid, RMB and many more...

Inspired by those artists I started making music with the „MAGIX Music Maker“ music software and the „Yamaha DJ-X“ synthesizer in 2001.

Today I try to make my music sound differently to other music by making my own sounds, using new software like „Ableton Live“ and hardware like the „Korg microkorg XL“.

In the future I want to get more experience by using male and female vocals. I am also looking for collaborations with other elctronic music artists and producers.
