A Brooklyn native born in a Jamaican household where music of all genres were played by her parents, DJ Lady Dior developed a mixed spectrum of musical influences. After learning the basics of deejaying from her Dad at the age of 13, she fell in love with the art of playing music & continued teaching herself other techniques, then branched off into her own. After playing at her very first event & realizing she can not only do what she enjoys, but also get paid, the spirit of a young hustler was born. She started throwing events all over Brooklyn & performing at various parties, showcasing her talent & building her name as a DJ & party promoter. Although she began to make waves throughout various nightclubs in NYC & around the states, her love for music went beyond scratching, blending tunes & moving crowds. In 2015, Dior decided to stop second guessing herself & began her journey as a self-taught music producer. Her musical ability continues to grow & she continues to strive towards success by building her brand, perfecting her craft & working with artists worldwide. In June 2022, Dior decided to take a leap closer to her dreams, become a CEO & started her record label "Crown Holder Records".
