Excellent qualitative music, bravo Leonardo.

After shutting down the bot following an incredibly powerful and meaningful temple burn for our camp, many of you thought that was the end of our 2022 Burning Man. However, a few hours later, the bus appeared in deep playa with Nico Stojan at the helm, just in time for one last sunrise. Here's looking forward to many more surprises and unscheduled moments together in 2023.

"What an honor it was to return to the Robot Heart bus for the final sunrise set of last year’s Burn! 

Originally, the Robot Heart team wasn’t planning on playing music Monday morning, so I was super happy when they asked me to play the last sunrise on the playa.

When I arrived at camp early Monday, the RH crew was just waking up and the bus was still sleeping, but there was an excitement in the air - so often it is those unplanned experiences at Burning Man that create the most magic.

We drove out to deep playa in the dark and before long had gained a wonderful crowd, everyone coming together to dance away their final hours in the dust. People were exhausted, but also energized from their week in the desert and not ready to return to the default world.

It was a super chilled last sunrise set that I thoroughly enjoyed - an unexpected morning that turned out to be unforgettable!"

Playing at Mezcal Amores was an absolute dream come true. ✨
In Mitla, one hour from Oaxaca - mountains all around, an agave field straight out of a painting, with Olivia Steele’s glowing art installations and messages scattered across the landscape like guiding stars. A lineup full of artists I deeply admire. A production that left zero wishes unfulfilled. And a crowd that felt like home.
Honestly, it was a “pinch me” moment from start to finish. I’m endlessly grateful to have been part of this year’s Oaxaca Experience.
Deborah - the biggest thank you to you and your entire team of dv experiences for bringing us all together in such a magical way and making this weekend truly unforgettable.

I will remember this forever.

What a night. What a weekend. What a festival. 

After an incredible experience in 2024, I was so happy to be back in 2025. But even more so incredibly honored to be offered to close out the Forest Stage with the final set of the festival. 

And to do it with Martín, one of my best friends, and favorite partner to play with. A night that will live in our minds forever. 

We started our set around 4am local time (Sunday night into Monday morning), and finished a little before 7am. We got to play from night into sunrise, with the sun coming out to play for the last 45 mins.  

Thank you again John, Bruno, Joao, Marco, and Goncalo for this gift. 

We hope everyone likes this set just as much as we enjoyed playing it.

but it honestly blew me away.

From the music curation and sound to the stage design, food, drinks, and crew — everything was on point.
This easily became one of my all-time highlights.

Massive thanks to everyone who came to Baan Bardo and turned those two hours into something truly special.
And a big shout-out to the entire Baan Bardo team for creating such an amazing experience.
