Pour ce premier épisode de sa nouvelle résidence, Trae Joly, membre du collectif Moon Squad et co-fondateur de l'association Commune de nuit, invite Sorun. Les DJ sets de SORUN sont ancrés dans une idée d'itinérance, de rencontres et d'inclusivité. Chant lyrique et violoncelle d'abord, puis musique traditionnelle réunionnaise, elle s'émancipe à la bass music. De toutes ces influences résulte un mélange singulier, maîtrisé et envoûté dont on distingue parfois peu les contours et dont le fil rouge est la global club music.Elle s'investit aussi activement pour la visibilité des personnes sexisées & queer, notamment à travers des initiatives comme son événement FIERCE POR FAVOR organisé pour la journée des droits des femmes à la Rotonde Stalingrad, en collaboration avec deux associations féministes. Elle a également lancé RACING QUEEN, une soirée gender fluid, dont la première édition a eu lieu au Mazette où l'identité de genre et les genres musicaux se rencontrent, avec DJ sets et performances de drag. Elle milite pour une fête sobre, inclusive et politique pour toustes.Résidente chez Tsugi Radio, SORUN parcourt les scènes de Paris mais aussi de la Réunion et de Maurice répandant la bonne parole à coup d'Asokpor, de Tarraxo, de Moombahton, de UKG, de Jersey, de ghetto, de break et de gommance. Docteure ès déhanchés  : décollage assuré !

New Delhi Based artist - Bønehead - boldly embraces his genre-fluid approach to music with ‘Pulp Fictiøn’

The New Delhi–based, multifaceted, and genre-fluid artist returns to his homegrown label with a new concept EP titled Pulp Fictiøn. Taking inspiration from the film, the EP features four intertwining tales (tracks) that revolve around the artist’s experiences, motives, and state of mind.

“I’m no longer catering to ‘Techno Enthusiasts’ or ‘Bass-heads.’ I made this for people who can appreciate music without trying to fit it into a box or a playlist.”
