▶ ABOUT YANNICK ROBYNS
Belgian Yannick Robyns´ been fidgeting around with electronic music half of his life, the first 8 years were pure vinyl collecting and mixing and the last 8 years using those years experience to create his own sound.

He has been playing all over Europe the last years and has settled himself in Berlin.

Since 2012 he is succesfully throwing his infamous monthly Wanted! parties at Chalet Club in Berlin.
Later this year a collaboration between him and Daniela La Luz will come out on vinyl on the Rawax sublabel HOUSEWAX.

It’s the pre-squeeze leading up to the big release. Mobilee presents this double-track treat on both vinyl and digital. 

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date. With a series of alternating and repetitive keyboard strokes and soulful lyrics bouncing on a thick velvet cushion of rich background base, this number is guaranteed to appeal to the industry’s most respected players. Already landing on the hard drives of Pete Tong, Laurent Garnier and Simian Mobile Disco “Hartwood” has gained a bit of airtime as loyal listeners burn for the final release date.

The B-side features Anja Schneider with a full out female power vocal number ironically titled, “Henry & Lars”. This track takes form from a very cuddly story that took place at BPM Festival in Mexico as Anja’s little guy and a stuffed animal named “Lars” found love and friendship in a little girl and her stuffed-animal she called “Henry”. And so the story went on…

The two outstanding tracks leading up the 7th mobilee back to back compilation on April 5th is just the tip of the iceberg! Look out for another digital release „mobilee back to back part 2“ before the back to back hits online stores and shelve.

Notre collectif a couvert plus de 30 d'entre eux, les gros comme les Vieilles Charrues, le Sziget, Dour, les Eurockéennes mais aussi des plus petits comme Astropolis, Baleapop ou Nouvelle(s) Scène(s), par le biais d'interviews, de blind-tests, de sessions acoustiques, d'extraits de lives et de concerts intégraux. Nas, Iggy Pop, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Vitalic, Laurent Garnier, Metronomy, Devendra Banhart, Massive Attack, Wu-Tang Clan, Interpol, TNGHT ou Paul Kalkbrenner, ils sont tous passés devant nos objectifs. Sourdoreille Production est aussi à l'origine de documentaires et de séries de sessions acoustiques.

Sourdoreille est surtout une zone où l'amour est maître et un collectif rassemblant 22 journalistes et vidéastes.
