Leuname aka Emanuel Ribeiro 45 years old from Lagos, south of Portugal.
From a young age he gained a taste for electronic music and he was caught by Psychedelic Trance near the end of 96 when he started to go to parties so he could watch his new found idols. Within this style of music the projects that marked him most were Astral Projection, Hallucinogen, Miranda, Orichalcum, Prana, Technossomy, Cydonia, Green Nuns of Revolution, Juno Reactor, Logic Bomb, S-Range, Koxbox, Hux Flux, GMS and X-Dream.
The taste for mixing was just a matter of time and in 1999 he became resident Dj and artists manager at the "well-known" Zapa Club in Lagos and stayed there for 10 years. He was always capable of filling up Zapa Club, thanks to his many contacts in this business area, bringing some well known artists like Altom and Haldolium to the club, and with his powerfull Dj sets always giving fresh tracks to the public.
In 2004 another passion started to grow, the "Progressive House" and projects like D-Nox & Beckers, Duca, Dousk, Fitalic, Brisker & Magitman, Nyquist, Maelstrom, Solead, Fine Taste, Luke Porter, Cid Inc, Alter Breed, Manuel De La Mare, True Lies, Jerome Isma-Ae, Rodrigo Carreira, Komytea, Daniel Portman, FM Radio Gods, Astronivo, La Baaz, Morten Granau, Khainz, SQL, Benjamin Halfmann, Johnson & Haske, Miki Litvak, Riktam & Bansi, Soundexile, Human Traffic, James Harcourt, Peter Gun, Nano-Mechanic, Weekend Heroes, Antix / Fiord, Andrea Bertolini and Lish are his favourites. A style that as grown up significantly since 2004 in terms of quality and crowd. He already played with artists like SBK, Sun Project, Biotouch, Didrapest, Altom, Haldolium, Jim Masters, Samuel L Session, Marten Horger and always left the crowd euphoric.
After 2013 he enters in the Tech-House/Deep Tech and today all his sets are based in this style. Nowadays Leuname have residency at Gran Café and Stevie Rays in Lagos
