Icilongo is a deep house song with sweet melodic vocals from the talented Lethy K. From the first drum (kick), you can tell that this a hit by the way it grabs your attention. Its hook is catchy and easy for everyone to sing along with it even if they just heard it for the first time. 

The aim of the song is to spread the power of faith, using the trumpet (Icilongo) as a metaphor. It expresses the faith of trusting the voice as a gift from God, to use to reach the destiny after overcoming all the challenges, but no matter what, the voice will keep singing and lead the way.

EARLY BACKGROUND
Born in 21 January 1987 at Ulundi Section C (South Africa), Lindani Lloyd Mabasa whose stage name is DJ Lindani is a talented house music disc jockey with 15 years of experience, who fell in love with music at an early age. His passion for music led him to start mixing various songs for himself, he then also wanted to share the music he listens to with the audience. To his 
surprise, people started noticing him from then because his ear for music caused him to play the songs that people like to listen to when relaxing or they just want to have fun.

CAREER
His career as a DJ started to take-off when people would request him to play in beauty pageants, from there more and more people began noticing him and they invited him to play in their parties and clubs. 

After moving to Durban to pursue his career in music, he was able entertain a larger number of audiences through different platforms, like concerts, weddings, radio station and more. Shared a stage with a number of main-stream artists.

For 10 years (2010 - 2020), DJ Lindani showcased his skills by playing on the biggest radio in South Africa, Ukhozi FM, with 7.5 million listenership on shows hosted by Tshatha Ngobe, Selby Mkhize (Selbyonce), Nongcebo and Lucky Nkosi.  His role was to:
	•	Play mixtapes,
	•	Introduce/host up and coming guest DJs and,
	•	Host DJ Battles.
He has also been playing on Vibe FM for a period of one year.

DJ Lindani is not just about himself only, he also enjoys sharing his skills and knowledge with others. He has done this by 
running a studio at Rockstars DJ School, located in Stanger for a year. He also ran another studio based in Durban called LNJ Media for 4 years (2015 - 2019), where he was sharing his knowledge by teaching and mentoring other upcoming DJs.

FUTURE PLANS
The current main objective is for him to become one of the well-established artists in the music industry and spread his music throughout. This will be possible by increasing his fanbase and keep sharpening himself as a brand, which is what he is has been working on and ready to move forward.
