The Like That Underground record label releases an almost monthly sampler series with upcoming talent and all-round great tracks. I've had the privilege to be the first track on the 8th series. Inspired by things that should last forever the track is made with energy and power in mind, this contrasts with the lower beats per minute to give a unique experience, some sort of Power Vibe.

We started making the track a year ago, and for Sherafatis this was a project 11 years in the making! The results speaks for itself. Shahab had the most considerable influence on the original track while Weiskamp and myself mostly focussed on the fine-tuning and the making of the remix.

Collaborating on this remix with Kiwi Club was truly a pleasure. This talented duo is dedicated to infusing live elements into melodic techno, and their uplifting sound served as the foundation of our collaboration. My role was to add a Lionote twist, injecting a darker undertone and reshaping the composition into a more classic techno style.

I am incredibly satisfied with the outcome of our collaboration. The remix not only showcases the diversity of techno music but also highlights the power of artistic collaboration. It's a testament to the endless possibilities when different perspectives come together to create something truly unique.
