This is my first "official" track I made in Serato Studio in June of 2020. I used a fun sample from back in my Disney days, a sample of a wonderful woman saying 'I Love Lee Kitchen' as well as a couple of stock in-key loops in Serato. It's kinda like the first day with the new toys! Enjoy!

Stand Clear Of LK Beats

This was my second official 'track' - a chill version/remix of a bossanova version, Bob Marley cover. It happened quite by accident as my old computer took a while to connect with my iTunes library and inadvertently loaded the sample deck with the Marley tune. I just 'went with it' after that, and this is the result!

No Woman No Cry - DJLK Chill Dub

In my third remix, I took a classic tune from the Beatles and sped it up to about 130 BPM which made for some interesting dynamics. Personally, I love the combo of the samples mixed with the tension of never really getting to the chorus! This track is remastered by my amazing buddy, Grover!!

Come Together For DJLK Beat(les) - Master

This was an experiment I did with a new synth plug in with totally bad ass bass! Loved it so I mashed up an old 80s tune from Flock of Seagulls with a quick 140 80s beat and let it rock!

Space Age LK Beats

Had some fun with the clean 808 drum kit that Serato always defaults to. Found a beat that sounded like it was from the Michael Jackson song, Billie Jean. Decided to make a mix as if I was live DJing it (I am definitely not practiced enough to do this live). What resulted was a fun mashup of lots of 110 bpm songs from the 80's. Lot's of Beasties mashed up in there too. Enjoy!

I am an avid and super eclectic music lover. I am just now trying my hand at music creation thanks to cool digital audio workstations like Serato Studio. The only real music experience I have (besides DJ'ing for 20 years) is listening, dancing and appreciating so I hope that translates well in my simple beat mixes and remixes of OPS (other people's songs.)
