Barnett Lobel a.k.a. "Lo Biz", being born into a family of musicians, began playing the piano and the guitar at the early age of six. After sevreal years of learning to master the piano and guitar, Barnett began playing the bass in one band as well as drums in another, and composed and produced numerous rocksongs in his band's own studio.

In 2009 he began DJing electronic clubmusic, to much and quick acclaim. Barnett's euphoria-inducing live performances have led him to headline at countless venues in the NYC club circuit, including Juliet SC, Marquee, and Hudson Terrace to name a few.

With a colorful background of audio engineering and music production in genres ranging from synth rock to acoustic jazz, Barnett first took his skills to the electronic dance scene in May 2010 with his 2010 update remix of Gigi D'agostino's "I'll Fly With You".

After a period of only few months and several more productions, he attained a remarkable level and participated in a contest to open live for electro house musician and record producer Steve Aoki, which he went on to win. This has opened up a number of new possibilities for Lo Biz, as he continues to hone his production skills and book live shows. 

One of the reasons for this rapid development is undoubtedly the Lo's style of composition and true empathy for the crowd. It stands out as very detailed and carefully produced Electro House, very playful and the same time remarkably catchy.

Lo Biz is definitely an artist to watch out for in the near future...
