Room 15 - Echoes Of The Moonlight

Last week, I had the chance to travel to Croatia — not only to explore this stunning country, but also to take part in the unforgettable Croatia Zouk Marathon. It was such a joy to share the decks with incredible artists and dear friends like Hush, Guinzy, Pedrinho, Tiago, Carlos, Winx, and many more!

The vibe was electric, the weather perfect, and the entire event so beautifully organized — big shoutout to Guido and the team for making it all happen 🙌

During the marathon, I played several sets, but this one stood out as something truly special. It was 1:30 AM in Room 15 — the legendary late-night-party room — with its large balcony opening to the night sky. Dancers moved freely, some outside under the open air, lit only by the moonlight. The moment felt surreal, intimate, and full of magic… and this set was born from that vibe.

It was also a meaningful personal milestone: I took the opportunity to play, for the very first time, my new release “Neshama” — a track I poured so much time, heart, and soul into creating. Sharing it in that moment made it even more unforgettable.

DJ Nerds: Coming into Zouk Diverse we were asked to come up with set themes ahead of time. This presented an interesting creative constraint since I usually go entirely off of vibes rather than prepared routines. Wanting enough ambiguity that I could still flex easily to fit the room, I named my block "Ouroboros", a symbol of cycles, aiming to create a cyclic set. As such it (nearly) starts and ends on the same song, going one additional song to show that (through the power of retroactive continuity) while we often fall into cycles, we can also break them.
