For the 10th Episode of our PARKER & FRIENDS Podcast series we have our own young gem and true selector, resident...man like Harry Walters! He's played at all the P&F Parties from the start  and this mix really shows why.. With his His unique sound and selection of beats mixed with his capability of always being able to slot in at any time and play the perfect vibe, we had take him onboard and help him as much as we can on his jouney. 

For the mix he's delivered a sliky hour of vibey house tracks, really representing what the young man is about.

Harry Walters

Orginally from near Birmingham, England. He’s always had passion for music from an early age through of all kinds family and friends. Harry Started DJ’in at just 16 where he debut’d in rainbow warehouse in Brum at 17.  He then grew in brum scene shortly after playing at 
parties such as ‘bread n butter’ hosted at lab 11.    Since being in Australia he’s played regularly at across both  Sydney & Melbourne at  party’s such as Canvas, SASH, Rizound and of course at both Parker and Friends & Tropica where he holds residents at both.  Also playing monthly on oblique radio for the well respected Canvas Sydney brand.

With all this combined it’s left Harry on a mission and completely obsessed/ inspired to constantly dig & collect digital and vinyl. 

In all this he carrys a clear ambition to carrying push his name in the scene and to be recognised as a serious selecta over the coming years.

Lucas Alexander is no ordinary artist. With a mixture of heritage from Wales to Jamaica, the fusion of his upbringing is far from short in his music.

Cutting his teeth early on House & Garage he would travel for hours from his hometown in Cardiff with his record bag in tow to play gigs in Manchester and further. 

Over the last ten years he has honed his craft becoming a regular in the Welsh dance music scene playing alongside every heavyweight under the sun. A graduate of the university of UKG, Lucas Alexander’s perfected a new sound merging Minimal, Garage and Tech House, with his glitched-out, playful 4:4 tracks making their way into the sets of Tristan Da Cunha & Brawther aka Dungeon Meat, Enzo Siragusa, Truly Madly, Appetite's Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer, Fish56Octagon, Danny Howard, Jamie Jones, Sarah Story, Silva Bumpa, Richy Ahmed, and many more. 

Born and raised in Cardiff, the Jamaican-Welsh artist’s early years were influenced by dubstep, Jungle and UKG. That playfulness shines through his expert productions, which are full of sampled British chit-chat and unexpected yet perfectly-timed cracked-up beats. 

With releases on his own imprint Rarebit records as well Seven Dials, Four Thirty Two, HE.SHE.THEY, a collab with DJ Deeon on Nervous Records, and a remix of Todd Edwards on Defected Records among others, Lucas is on a mission to put Wales on the map and firmly stake his claim of the Dance Music scene.
