Hailing from Venice, Italy, DJ and record collector Zaffa’s journey into dance music was inevitable, thanks to his family’s deep ties to the scene.

Growing up amidst his aunt’s discoteques and influenced by his brother’s musical tastes, Zaffa was immediately captivated by icons like Michael Jackson and Kool & The Gang.

It's no secret that we are passionate about world music and all kinds of exotic sounds, especially Latin rhythms. We have dedicated a side-project to this wonderful genre, which we call “Danza Estética.” While Latin House had its peak in the early 2000s, it never fully left the scene, Latin-infused productions are heating up dancefloors worldwide (shout-out to @toytonics , @razor-n-tape and @mondoritmo crews!) With this new project and DJ mix, we aim to avoid obvious versions of classics and overly cheesy or techy tunes. Our vision is to offer a take on lesser-known club songs and provide a glimpse into the future of the genre ≈ Buen viaje, let’s make Latin House great again! 🪭

The S'Express Remix Album is still coming! 

What has been the hold up? Well last year I was all set to release it with one of the major labels. However when it turned out they lost $2.1 billion in the last tax year it all went tits up. While it would be easy to blame the big bad record company, in this case everyone I worked with were great and really helpful. It just goes to show how messed up the music industry is right now and how difficult things are.

So it's back to plan one where I'm going to put it out myself (and hopefully not lose $2.1 billion). New mixes have been, and are being done just to keep it fresh and the mixes that don't fit on the album will be coming out as exclusive free downloads - so watch this space!
