Mehdi Boulahsen aka DJ M2 is a Moroccan, Montreal-based Producer and Remix artist.
Fascinated by music from early on in life, Mehdi discovered himself a passion for the art of DJing
over the years. His vibe is making the public listen to new artists, not just locally, but internationally.
He makes it a mission to be known worldwide so he can travel and collaborate with bigger artists and
mix for prestigious clubs.
His debut, in summer of 2011, was at Montreal's DJ SOLOTECH competition, as a young Remix Dj.
He also performed as a DJ in night clubs and for artists. M2 leaves a mark, opening up for
international artists and by doing Night Life tours around the world. He participated in festivals like Le
Festival du monde arabe in Montréal and he passed by Canadian cities such as Sherbrooke,
Québec, Ottawa, Toronto, and has even gone to Marrakech.
DJ M2's go-to styles are mainly Afrobeat, House, Latin and underground oriental beats. His
inspirations come from Djs and Artists: Antoine Clamaran Bob Sinclair, David Vendetta, Kassav,
Dj Snake, Dj MOH Green et Robbie Rivéra.
Between 2020 et 2021, he hosted a radio show entitled « La fièvre du samedi soir » (Saturday
Night Fever) on CIBL 101,5 FM in Montréal. In January 2021, he signed with the booking agency
CEP (Creative Events Promoters) in Amsterdam. He is a resident DJ and spins twice a month for
BPM Radio digital, a Istanbul, Turkish based radio show. Now, 2022 has him preparing a global tour
where he plans to reach Europe, Africa, the States along with Canada. DJ M2 is undoubtedly a must
discover DJ of his generation, and we especially encourage you to follow his next few months of
growth.
