Sol Selectas is pleased to welcome back Spanish artist German Brigante with a stunning solo EP titled “Será El Flamenco”.
As the name suggests, “It Will Be Flamenco” is a fusion of traditional flamenco melodies with electronic grooves and rhythms, and all the recordings are original works, not sampled. This is a family release, with German’s own father Kurry featured on three of the songs on acoustic guitar, and his cousin Agustín performing flute on 2 songs as well. With such strong roots in the Flamenco tradition going back generations in German’s family, we can really feel something special and personal on this release.

“Acido Azul” is a certified dance floor hit, with 303 lines swirling on top of cowbells and a sultry female voice, combined with a dramatic drum roll build-up blasting us into the deep infectious bass lines German is notorious for.

“Açai” really highlights the flamenco guitar mastery of German’s father Kurry, with cousin Agustín backing him up on the flute, and Gitano chants on top.

“Será el Flamenco “ the title track has deep chords and pad progressions to highlight the vocal story being told, on top of another deep bass groove and Kurry’s mesmerizing guitar licks.

“Inquietud” is the perfect track to close this EP, taking the tempo down a notch without losing any excitement or emotion. The track grooves along with bright percussion fills, cosmic arpeggios and the lovely sounds of German’s talented family members.

The artwork by Helia Jamali shows the passion of a Flamenco dancer lost in the rhythms of the Andalusian skies.

The fourth of Art Departments Natural Selection remix packages is set to drop in August with the arrival of Crazy. This time, those chosen to add their own unique spin on the huge and still popular original are none other than Jamie Jones and Dennis Ferrer. First up is Jamie Jones, the king of his own much loved musical empire in the form of Hot Creations. As well as being an award winning DJ and producer, he also performs live with Hot Natured and runs his own key night at DC10 in the form of Paradise. Here the Welshman lays down one of his fat trademark basslines and injects trippy, colourful melodies. Classic sounding, airy hi hats and subtly worked vocal patches add plenty of heat and drama to the groove, and a sci-fi breakdown is sure to send the dance floor wild, especially once Jones drums kick once more. On the flipside US musical heavyweight Dennis Ferrer takes the reigns as he delivers his own take on Crazy. The New York based DJ, producer and label owner has truly left his mark on the dance music landscape over the last two decades with his Objektivity imprint kick starting the career of the Martinez Brothers and his own records helping to define house music. Here his remix is an expertly stripped back, shuffling house number that goes deep. Synths spiral around, the bass comes on from way down below and Ferrers treatment of the vocals adds an air of mystery that is genuinely hypnotising

Inspired by their world travels, and a desire to bring back a piece of every musical culture they encounter, KMLN 's 2nd release on Sol*Selectas, the "Sabilu EP" is 2 original tracks written and recorded in Indonesia, and Mexico. "Sabilu" features the vocals of Javanese jazz singer Mian Meuthia, now living in Bali, and original field recordings of jewelry, sticks, shakers, and traditional Gamelon music. The Indonesian lyrics speak about the love that exists in all humans, and that even though we all strive to be different, we are one in the same. "Gitamato" is a reinterpretation of the roots of Flamenco music, historically imported by the Spanish into Mexico. The spirit of gypsy wanderers is still alive and strong felt in Mexico, particularly in the town of Tulum - where a genuine sense of ancient magic can literally be felt in the air. In this song KMLN has recorded live the guitars, claps, shakers, synths, snares, and bell sounds. For the remix of "Sabilu", we have enlisted the stellar work of Mira & Christopher Schwarzwalder from Berlin, whose residencies at Bar 25, and now Katerblau, have made them underground legends. Their remix strips back the original, taking us on a slower even deeper hypnotic journey - while retaining the original message of human love and respect for all, within the lyrics. The final remix of "Sabilu" comes from new producer Schon Long, whose entry into our Shambhala Music Festival / Sol Selectas remix competition earlier this summer, was the stand out winner. Creatively playing on the pitch of the vocals, and adding the grooviest bass line we've heard in a long time, his remix submission was hands down the victor out of over 50 entries. 
The artwork by Helia Jamali captures the feminine energy and message of oneness in "Sabilu", represented here by the deep red orange Indonesian flower with goddesses dancing around its essence.

Remaining at the forefront of the dance world, Hot Creations continues to break new talent and play host to well established producers. Nine months after releasing Acuds Verbrennungsmotor Ep, we are not done with it yet. We found five wonderful artists to get everything out of the engine, which resulted in this new Remix EP. The title track, produced by ACUD and BEATMÖRTELZ, is here new interpreted in an impressive way by the downtempo specialists ARUTANI and O/Y, by RODION (ALIEN ALIEN), which is known for his massive Nu-Disco Skills, and finally, in a faster version, by AIO. Further LUKAS ENDHARDT gives the poetic track FLIEGEPETER a new look. The original version by ACUD will be published also in a radio version.

DJ Mad Kour was born in Cairo 9\5\1992,
At a very early age he was influenced by the work of his father, as his father works as a producer and sound engineer,
and that was one of the main reasons that made his passion to the music ,but Mad kour was more into electronic music as he was influenced by some artists like ( Trentemoller, Gerardo Boscarino , John Acquaviva , Hernan Cattaneo , Dero , John Dahlback and James Zabiela).

DJ Mad Kour started his career in 2007 when he started recording sessions on his computer,
Later in 2009 he became more professional in mixing and more familiar with the equipments.

2011 was the real start for DJ Mad Kour, as he started playing in private parties and events, He also played with some international Djs like : ( Andrea Bertolini ,Swen Weber , Paul Ursin , Balthazar , Lu4o , Synthetic Technology and Sanik).

On the other side DJ Mad Kour started taking his production to a higher level, by releasing his first EP "Micro Dots" with the Brazilian label "Eltronic Fusion Records".
He also signed with some other labels like : (Tronic B7 Records, Innertek Recordings, Dual Life Records and Quanza Records)
