Harri & Domenic celebrated two decades of Subculture — their infamous weekly club night at Sub Club in Glasgow — earlier this month.

After taking the reigns from Slam in 1994, they've booked the likes of Moodymann, Dixon and Stacey Pullen as well as entertaining its loyal following with residents-only parties week-in, week-out.

To mark a score on the floor, the duo played all night to a packed out Sub Club. Taking it in turns to man the decks for periods at a time, they dropped everything from Kings Of Tomorrow and Frankie Knuckles to Deetron and Levon Vincent until the lights came up at 4am.

Working as a 20 Years Of Subculture retrospective, the night charted the sounds that over the years have made the night what it is today, while everyone went mental and got very sweaty.

The 20 Years of Subculture celebrations continue at Sub Club over the next few weeks featuring a host of guests, including Chris Duckenfield (26/4), DJ Harvey (3/5), Tama Sumo (10/5), Kerri Chandler (31/5) and KiNK & Neville Watson (7/6).

July 28th. Why is that date so significant...

10 years ago, it marked the beginning of the Coldharbour adventure, with the release of the first Coldharbour Selections; headlined by a little known track we all love called Blueberry. And as the label has grown, so has the love and adulation towards the fans who belielve in it - the simple reason why Coldharbour Day was born.

Even though publically I have kept quiet about it, I'm so proud that we have hit the 10 year anniversary. And in order to pay tribute, I decided to take on an even bigger challenge by delivering a 5 hour set for Coldharbour Day this year, despite all the time demands of touring, marathon sets at festivals and GDJB, including the Sunrise Set.

The mix allowed me to start things off nice and deep, and weave things towards a crescendo with tracks that have reosnated with me the most in recent and distant times. The preparation spanned a couple of months again, with plenty of late nights the past couple of weeks, just getting it finished in Ibiza this morning. 

This is your day, and it's another gift I hope you will enjoy and remember for a long time to come.
