Celle-ci s'est fait récemment connaitre via ses sorties sur des labels comme ILIO Records et Unknown To The Unknown, et pour avoir partagé l'affiche de nombreux festivals australiens aux côtés de DJ Koze, Caribou ou encore DJ Boring. Son mix pour Resident Advisor, enregistré en direct du festival Pitch Music & Arts a confirmé son statut de nouveau talent à suivre auprès de tous les passionnés de Detroit techno, UK bass et UK garage.

﻿Producer and DJ Marli stands out in the electronic music scene, drawing inspiration from a broad spectrum. An Australian native now based in Paris, Marli's sound is deeply rooted in Detroit Techno, Chicago House, and UK Garage, creating a nostalgic vibe with syncopated rhythms and rich samples that seamlessly blend deep house, soul, breakbeat, and UKG.
Marli has graced major Australian lineups including Let Them Eat Cake, Pitch Music & Arts, Beyond The Valley, Strawberry Fields, Lost Sundays, and Forum Melbourne. Since her move to Europe in 2024, she has performed in Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, and the UK, with many more shows on the horizon.
Sharing stages with globally renowned artists like Omar S, Gerd Janson, DJ Koze, Caribou, Dam Swindle, Folamour, Sally C, Loods, and DJ Boring, Marli's live Resident Advisor mix at Pitch Music & Arts has affirmed her status as a world- class talent.
Her debut vinyl EP 'Mood Independent' on ILIO Records sold out in just three days. Horse Meat Disco have delivered an hour of Soundwave festival-fuelled disco power for this week’s DJ Mag podcast. You can listen to it above.

Soundwave returns to The Garden Resort in Tisno, Croatia, for its ninth year in 2017, with Horse Meat Disco joined by Roy Ayers, Gilles Peterson, Mall Grab, Chaos in the CBD, Ross From Friends and many more.

Speaking about their DJ Mag podcast, Horse Meat Disco’s James Hillard told DJ Mag, “It’s not quite a journey but a cosmic mini break of tunes jetting off to Africa on route to Hawaii via new wave electro and 80s pop. Some disco nuggets too naturlich.
