Literally coming from the underground, after spending the late '90s honing his DJ skills at a club in a wine cellar in his native Dusseldorf, Jan Krueger been on the up ever since, first climbing the cellar steps, then the music industry's greasy pole.

Now with a residency at Berlin's hot and wet Watergate, and releases on Moon Harbour Recordings, his name is becoming internationally associated with deep house from when deep house was deep house. It's my true pleasure to finally present our second podcast. Following up from Sonja's podcast mix wasn't going to be an easy task. With some people waiting : 1 year : and others going on : 2 years : I feel extremely honored to have one from him so unexpectedly soon. Organic and natural seems to be the way our podcast's are taking form and this is no exception. Jay's release output is hard not to take notice. He has a gigantic release roaster with over 16 ep's : 33 credits : including releases on labels such as 20:20 Vision, Mixmag, Defected, Bla Bla Records, Fear Of Flying, and many more.

It's very rare do people create trends and not follow them. Not many have an option to create a lovely balance of true funky minimal mixed with quality minimal house as part of their arsenal. This mix is everything I enjoy in a mix : weird, deep, moody, and eclectic. It most certain takes you on a journey. This one speaks a little more with each listen. It's the kind of mix that makes you feel sad it's ended, has you selfishly thinking it should be longer, and feels like it takes at least 10 listens to slowly get your mind around it. He most certain doesn't disappoint and everyone is sure in for a real treat!

Walking the dark path of minimal, the 8th episode of our podcast series settles in Russia’s heart with Adjustment Bureau.

Originally from Saint Petersburg and currently based in Moscow, Saksonov Vladimir and Kondraschenko Denis are forming this blazing duo. Crafted between the Saint Petersburg and Moscow clubbing scene, the Adjustment Bureau act was present in most of the notable happenings, being a regular in Rodnya Studio, Mosaique, Gazgolder, Dissident, Château de Fantomas and the electronic chosen voice of Meduza, the Volks, RTS.FM, Antrakt and many more valuable projects.

Epine Vinette EP released on Hypertone was an important milestone in their production journey, soon followed by remarcable releases on Pleasure Zone, Bodyparts, Heisenberg, Metroline, Dilated, Only Material Matters labels.

For this first Minimadelic podcast, we are delighted to welcome Debbie Døe, an internationally renowned artist who is emblematic of the Montreal underground scene. 
This live set beggins with a dissonant and enveloping murmur, dotted with organic sound details. Shortly afterwards, complex rhythms enter the scene with a swing and a subtle delay on the percussion tracks, accentuating the human side of the creation. The whispering to the audience continues, contrasting with a very rich atmosphere in the background.
It is then that a double bass comes to support the groove and transports in a journey of mini jazz. This sensual, almost erotic journey is enlivened by a traditional oriental voice, Debbie's signature sound that reflects her Lebanese origins. 
Various surprises await the audience at the end of the live performance, including a few saxophone notes, various percussions and beautiful vocalizations that sublimate the omnipresent female energy of this journey.
