Lua Preta are back with a new single 'Essa Preta Me Mata', named after a song by legendary Angolan singer Teta Lágrimas that Ms. Gia's parents used to listen to. After last year's 'Panakanema', the single presents another nod to the duo's Brazilian influences being a true baile funk bass feast. Megatron started as a soundsystem wall (paredão de som) in the periphery of São Paulo. 4x3m of speakers and strong lights made the this one of the most well-known soundsystems.
Fastly, the heavy bass of funk was felt on Megatron speakers, mixed with the very machinery sounds. São Paulo's new generation funk mcs took over the name and called it Megatron

XXIII // MEGATRON brings together european and brazillian artists and their approach to Megatron.
