Post-Jungle Transcendence:
Bunglism isn’t just another jungle substyle — it’s jungle that folds back in on itself so intensely (breaks chopped to infinity, bass made spatial, rituals sampled into riddims) that it breaks through the genre barrier. This is Jungle³ — London Jungle × Tribal Memory × Binaural Future.

Acoustic over Synthetic:
Where other jungles went toward synths and digital darkness, Bunglism goes back and down — into skin, wood, breath, and bone. Coconuts, djun djuns, talking drums, rainsticks, didgeridoo — nothing plastic. That’s its law: no synths, no negative vocals — only organic vibrations and raw break science.

Ritual Dancefloor Function:
Classic jungle was rave + street energy. Bunglism is rave + ritual energy. It’s not just for dancing — it’s for unlocking states of mind. It feels like the rainforest itself is DJing: animals, birds, insects, spirits, weather. The bass is not just “low end” — it’s Earth heartbeat sync.

Whimsical Spirit:
Even though it’s heavy, it’s not grim. Bunglism has play built in — jelly wobble bass, animal FX, Fraggle Rock energy alongside Kenny Ken. It’s serious about fun — a rude boy with a feather crown skanking at a rainforest rave.

Spatial Consciousness:
Most jungle is stereo chaos. Bunglism is dimensional. Doppler tricks, binaural sweeps, phantom sounds circling your head. It feels like you’re inside the forest, hallucinating the rave around you.

Philosophy:
At its core, Bunglism says:

“When music becomes so jungly, so tribal, and so spatial that it feels like both rave and ritual at once — you’ve crossed into Bunglism.”

Repetentes 2008 is 26 year old Brazilian multi instrumentalist, session super star, Globo Television soap opera jingle up-and-comer, 40% Foda label boss and Botafogo FR football hooligan Gabriel Guerra. Known affectionately as Guerrinha amongst his friends, Guerrinha - or as he’s referred to officially - Gabriel, turns in Superconscious Records’ 13th edition. After his absurd debut LP on Future Times and his more recent outings on his own 40% Foda and PAN records, Guerrinha keeps things relatively straight up with 4 absurdly fast but not furious club friendly tracks.
