As is customary with my Vinyl Destination mixes this is another vinyl only trip down memory lane. Another selection spanning 20 tunes and just over 2 hours, this one takes in all things progressive. Picture yourself getting in that club at just after 9pm with the lights down low, smoke machine filling s sparse dance floor as the eager crowd start to trickle in.

That's what I've tried to recreate here, really taking the time to build it up with peaks and troughs. Lots of deep basslines, some really intricate intelligent tracks with quite a few of them coming it at over 10 minutes, none more so than the magnificent Xpander from Sasha. Track list is below, still some household names in there showing off their deeper side, particulary Armin Van Buuren with his Sunburn track.

Hailing from one of the most famous cities in the UK, a place that is steeped in musical history, Liverpudlian trance artist AMOS & RIOT NIGHT aka David McClelland is one of the trance scenes rising talents. The AMOS & RIOT NIGHT sound can be described as a super fresh, uplifting, emotional and very much melody driven style, with loads of uptempo energy. A production focused sound, which is how David first met trance master Sean Tyas who has become a mentor in his production career, from feedbacking demos and championing A&RN tracks from early on, to releasing his tracks on his massive Regenerate label. I've held residencies at Bakers, Arca bar(both in the early 2000's), Sloans, Type3, iBar (all Sutton Coldfield), Vanity, Bullit, Olivers (all Tamworth), Uba Rooms Burton and loads more.

I'm a lover of all things uplifting for main sets (House/Trance/Progressive/Classic Speed Garage and Garage) and very adept at warming up too.
