Knowpa Slaps is a San Francisco based DJ and Producer. Founder and Resident DJ of R&B and RIBS, one of the Best Day Parties in SF, as well as Motown on Mondays SF. He has opened for favorites like Four Color Zack, J Espinosa and the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff.  His edits and remixes have been played by DJs all over the country and beyond.

Melbourne artist DJ Smilez -- known for his curated sets and infectious vibe, has fans calling his unique experience "the Smilez effect".

A local to the city of Melbourne, Australia – DJ Smilez has been recognized to have changed the path from a nightclub DJ to one of the most respected within the industry. He made a name for himself not only for his choice of music but for the energy he brings when playing – by championing a sound that blends Latin Rhythms, Brazilian Drums and Hip-Hop – otherwise known as the genre Baile Funk.

Mastering his skills for over 6 years, from practicing in his “home studio” to local nightclubs, bars and private functions – even remembering his first gig at a small Melbourne venue Horse Bazaar, which may seem underwhelming to some, however to him, it was a humble step into what would turn out to be a career he could only dream of – this is where he has been able to perfect his ability to cross-sonic boundaries and step out of the shadow image known as the-ordinary-nightclub-DJ and into someone who is admired for his unaccustomed visions and creativity.

From hauling crates of records all around Asia to make people move on any type of dance floor to being technically proficient enough to be one of the hand-picked contestants in the Red Bull Thre3style competition by his peers, Aurelius has had long and illustrious DJ career so far. 

Aurelius is not slowing down anytime soon. 

Expect classic hip-hop, foot-stomping funk, smoothed-out soul, sweaty dancehall, head-nodding house, groovy moombahton, ticked-out trap and booty-shaking twerk sounds of the past, present and the future mixed, remixed and refixed in ways that are pleasing to even the most finicky club-goers’ ears when Aurelius is behind the decks. 

Besides headlining at all the biggest clubs in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung and all over China, Aurelius has been an integral part in building the underground music scene by introducing Taiwan to parties on beaches, at pools, on ice skating rinks, and in roller rinks. For the past four years, Aurelius has worked with frog in a sock for Havana pool parties, Resurrection Halloween parties, and The Last Minute New Year’s Eve parties, all which have gotten bigger and better every year. 

Expect 2014 to be a banner year for Marcus Aurelius as it is truly the year to GO BIG!
