Though initially captivated by the frenetic energy of hardcore and drum & bass, everything changed when the hypnotic progressions of a John Digweed mixtape found their way to his ears in 1994, revealing the sonic path he was destined to follow.

Matt cut his teeth in South London’s intimate pub circuit, where raw talent and dedication eventually opened doors to his breakthrough club performance in 1995. What followed was a meteoric rise through London’s notoriously competitive underground scene, where his signature blend of melodic textures and driving rhythms earned him coveted slots at industry touchstones. From the sweaty, packed rooms of Empathy in Bristol to the legendary decks of The Gallery in London, and across international borders to Poland and Mexico, Matt’s musical journey has left an indelible mark on dance floors that transcends geographical boundaries.

In the studio, Matt has emerged as a formidable production force with an ear for the sublime.
