So, we’ve got our latest showcase primed and ready to go and face a dilemma. We have no less than eight (count ‘em) new tracks to tell you about, a stunning sonic smorgasbord that summarises all Selador holds dear. But with collective attention spans allegedly getting shorter, our poor befuddled minds crushed between vapid soundbites and oppressive ‘long reads’ – how do we do them all justice in one concise press release that hits that ‘perfect length’ sweet spot? 

Our solution? To get you as excited as we are about this bountiful batch of titanic tuneage we are limiting ourselves to ten adjective-heavy words per track – all without using the words ‘banger’, ‘anthem’ or ’piledriver’ (the boss noticed our over-use of that last one). For the tenth anniversary of his record label 'DEGREE RECORDS' the
owner, MARC LENZ, who lives in Germany, releases his first album. The
Record, which bears the sonorous name 'MOMENTUM', contains a total
of 8 tracks that offer a representative cross-section of Marc's unique,
groovy sound. Both the brand new numbers and the reworks adapted for
the album, which were created under his previous alter ego
'212fahrenheit', know how to convince the listener with ease.
The record is rounded off not least by the collaborations with 'CARI
GOLDEN' from the USA, who lends her unique voice to the track 'WOMAN
IN THE WILD' and none other than 'GORGE', who is familiar to everyone

'Returning to Proton Music in October 2018, the "Audacity" EP represented Simos Tagias at his finest with two exceptional original tracks. Remixes from a Croatian superstar and Australian mainstay now continue the story.

An undisputed master of his craft, Petar Dundov has represented the underground dance scene with considerable aplomb for over 25 years. With his innovative sound design and unique sonic architecture, the Croatian has been at the vanguard of a genre-defying sound that perhaps identifies most closely to techno for Dundov himself. Melding rhythm and melody in distinctive patterns that have mesmerised global audiences at festivals such as, "I Love Techno" and "EXIT, and clubs including and Tokyo's "Womb" and Berlin's achingly cool "Berghain", work for a plethora of blue-chip imprints has appeared in tandem. Thus, Music Man, Systematic Recordings, Cocoon and Bedrock have all played host to Dundov's iconic sound.'

'Plaisirs Sonores Records end a fantastic year on a high with the 'Sky Mirage' EP from Dutch producer, Budakid, alongside two great remixes from Armen Miran and label-boss Hicky & Kalo.

The original track by Budakid exploits the dreamy side of the artist's aesthetic. A walk through a landscape of lush textures and poetic melodic elements.

The in-demand Armen Miran steps up on remix duties, a man always on top of his game. His remix grabs your attention from the off with its tight bassline and vibrant clap fills, giving his re-creation a classic deep house feel. The track delivers a subtle expansion of the original sounds, whilst locking you under its magical spell.

Closing out the EP, Hicky & Kalo finds a beautiful opportunity to exploit the melancholic side of the track with a dive into the deepness of its soul. The pair have crafted a masterful drop that leads to a grand punch as the drums return with great precision. It's a cut crafted to mesmerize the mind.'
