Free Shelter presents their first V/A of original productions; Dancefloor Mindscapes.

The EP travels through 4 different interpretations of the familiar feeling of letting go of your emotions, and escaping within the dancefloor amongst like minded people in a unity unlike anything else.

Whether it be via the hypnotic, dubby intro track from AK-One, to the slow burning acid lines of Jeku, via the melancholically euphoric middle track of Mirage-Man, and ending with the final push in an emotional rollercoaster from Stuster; the main message is still applied.

Mekaanikko (Juuso Koponen) is hardly a new face to the Helsinki club and underground scene. In fact he’s been around at least since 94 when he used to throw parties such as The Pit and Oranssi Teknocafe. The diversity of his immense record collection is astonishing and plays to his advantage on every performance. On this particular podcast the strain of his choice is early 90’s UK dance music so expect a variety of breakbeats and hoovers.
