We premiere new music from Swiss bass boss Hermeth as he features on LA based Dionysian Mysteries for a 4-track EP. We host ‘Do Ma Ting’, an earth-shattering electro rhythm that is accompanied by glitchy hip-hop vocals and alarming synth lines.

Hermeth is one of the charismatic and encapsulating figures in contemporary electro &broken club. The masked DJ and producer delves into the powerful sides of electro, ghetto tech, and breaks music. He has been catching peoples attention since he first joined the Geneva-based Brainwaves label in 2019.

Hermeth delivers his long-awaited debut EP on Dionysian Mysteries, with remixes from AVALON and Buzz Kill. The Geneva hometown hero and Brainwaves Wunderkind has clearly etched out his own sound, which has become definitive in the electro scene, with a distinctive production approach. Infusing breaks with huge ripping analog bass lines and catchy vocals lending to its head thrashing charisma. Hermeth’s carefree “no fucks” attitude is contagious and effective on the dance floor, embodying the Dionysian Aesthetic.

We premiere ‘ Do Ma Ting’, a slamming electro groove that leaves flavours of Mala through to Drexciya as the Swiss eradicates any thought of a rule-book on his latest release. He expertly blends new-age club focussed electro with the dexterity of classic Detroit sound-design, while still also harnessing his hip-hop influences – ultimately providing a piece of work that bone-crushing embodiment of electro past and present, while still firmly holding his middle finger to any thought of musical conformity. This one should be played loud, and with venomous attitude.

The remix edition breathes new sounds and textures into "ISSUES", led by some of the most innovative and exciting talents in today's electronic music scene. By writing and producing music about her own experiences with BPD and featuring Manuka Honey, Sally C, Cyan85, Ben Pest and Peachlyfe along the way, DJ MELL G continues to raise awareness about the condition, challenge stigmatised views, and empower others to create meaningful dialogue around mental health.

Bristol's Ben Pest remixes "DISTURBED MIND". On this occasion, the UK producer and live performer concocts a freaky, otherworldly mood with crunchy snares, zappy sound FX and an alien version of DJ MELL G's vocals. A rugged and raw electro tune to jolt the dancefloor in the early hours.

“See the Light” by https://soundcloud.com/user-459020245  a triptyque cut, out to be the straightforward, grimy, clean, and uncluttered bass track the producer always seeks for when going for the uncompromisingly strong raw material.

The Concealed Club Manifesto project pays homage to the mid 2000s underground UK club music scene, an era of music which acts as well of inspiration and creativity for the Nouveau Monica, and has no doubt helped shaped his sound. For the French producer, the UK club scene holds a special allure and mystique, especially since he observed this phenomenon from afar, and was idealized as one of the most “pivotal” moments in underground club culture, making it seem intangible, hence concealed. Nouveau Monica’s sound palette is deeply rooted in the UK scene, which he combines with his own personal musical background. This mid 2000s UK club sound is what the producer defines as his “Golden Era” and the genres created during that time are the building blocks of the Concealed Club Manifesto EP.
