Seun Kuti is the son of Fela Kuti, one of Africa’s greatest musician and the originator of Afrobeat. With the same energetic and booming voice as Fela, Seun has developed his own raging rhythm, citing Chuck D, Dr. Dre and Eminem among his other musical heroes. Seun started learning to play saxophone and piano when he was 8, and first appeared on stage at 9 as opening act with his father’s band, Egypt 80.
