Jahrelang tanzte Karl zu treibendem Techno – bis er sich entschied, die
Perspektive zu wechseln und selbst hinter das DJ-Pult zu treten. Seitdem
zeigt seine Karriere steil nach oben. 2024 spielte er sein erstes Set für den
landesweit bekannten Podcast Aka-Tapes, und kurz darauf holte ihn
Labelgründer Tony ins Team. Gemeinsam kuratieren sie nun die äusserst
erfolgreiche Sammlung elektronischer Musik, die mittlerweile auf über 300
Episoden angewachsen ist. Mit weiteren Podcast-Releases und Auftritten in
der ganzen Schweiz fand Karl schnell seinen Platz in der Szene. Ende 2025
startet er mit seinen ersten internationalen Gigs.
2024 gründete Karl die Partyreihe Basskompass und seit 2025 ist er
Mitglied des wundervollen Labels Sippengold. Er beschreibt sich selbst als
laut und lustig – und genau so sind auch seine Gigs. Wenn er in deiner Nähe
auflegt, solltest du dir seine verspielten, energetischen und mitreissenden Sets nicht entgehen lassen.

We’re excited to share with you the last set recording of the day program on Day 4 Flows Festival 2025! This one is from Doubljuh from Deep Stories, who filled up the Levant floor at the beach with his infectious disco and oldies goldies grooves from 14.30 to 16.00. 

It was a hot sunny day and people were dancing all over the place - some even in the sea - when Doubljuh took control of the afternoon party.

Hisham Zahran - Year Mix [2019]

Ah, 2019. What a year it's been. I don't know about y'all but mine has been quite insane... especially this summer.

One of my highlights was playing a small festival out in the middle of the woods / on a lake front for one of my best friend's birthday parties. He threw a little festival for himself and asked me to close the whole night out. 3am to 6am. woof. Not to mention the fact that it was the day after I landed in Seattle from Germany. double Woof. I was so delirious, tired, all the feels you'd expect.

I played a mix of downtempo, with a dash of hip hop throwbacks and instrumentals I had, because most of the crowd was dying out so I wanted to experiment. A select group of friends stayed up the entire time, and when I finally gave the decks a rest, one friend told me "dude, that was the most gangster set I've ever heard....it was tribal, it was earthy and spiritual, but it had like, a thuggish attitude about it..."

I smiled and laughed, but it stuck with me for the rest of summer and into fall. Jungle spiritual beats with a thug attitude about it... interesting... Thus...this mix, was born!

I've been working on this mix for a few months, so apologies for the tardiness. I wanted to really nail the story, the setting. I envisioned a concrete jungle perhaps... a throwback gangster jungle ride... hehe. There hasn't been a LOST mix out in a while. I went through so many takes, so many mistakes, bad mixes, but this one was a journey. I honestly could have recorded another hour or so, I have so many sick edits I wanted to include but I figured it's already waaaay too long haha!

Hope you enjoy, I truly love every track I picked in this, hope you take the time to listen to it all! See y'all in 2020, lot's of Samaha music coming atcha! You know how we dooo it.

Mila Stern plays music like a vole swinging a glow stick. Gently but firmly she pushes us forward. Little kicks in the back side towards happiness get us dancing on our toes until we want to cry out: “Whaaat?!”
Mila was musically raised in youth centres & squats, ripened in Tel Aviv to finally graduate to the best clubs that Germany offers. She prefers a course around 123,4 bpm, sliding through with some shorter and occasionally with longer transitions. Preferably well-rested. But even crumpled, she has surprised us with utter superiority!

Slow Nomaden is the new side project of Tobias Kroschel, the head behind Sound Nomaden to express his passion for deeper sounds and influences from around the globe. In his DJ Sets and productions he takes the listener on an electronic journey through sounds of different cultures and spheres.

Already his first EP „Jungle“ released on 3000Grad Records in late 2017 got huge support from within the global tastemaker scene including Nico Stojan, Damian Lazarus, Riva Starr, Igor Marijuan just to name a few. Nach fast 7 Jahren Pause ist Micha 2017 wieder aktiv an die Decks gestiegen. In den 90ern hat das Urgestein der Leipziger Technoszene, als „Ditte“ nicht nur in Deutschland von sich reden gemacht. Er war Mitveranstalter der legendären EASTSIDE Partys (1993-2001) und leitete von 2003 bis 2006 den kleinen, sehr feinen Club Molendyk. Im Jahr 2003 gewann er völlig verdient den MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest vor 49 weiteren DJ´s. Er beherrscht es wie kaum ein Zweiter, immer das gewisse Etwas in seine Sets einzubauen. Am brillanten Mixing und der Track-Auswahl erkennt man, dass da 30 Jahre Erfahrung hinter den Decks stehen. After a break of almost 7 years, Micha actively took to the decks again in 2017. In the 90s, the veteran of the Leipzig techno scene, “Ditte”, made a name for himself not only in Germany. He was co-organizer of the legendary EASTSIDE parties (1993-2001) and ran the small, very fine club Molendyk from 2003 to 2006. In 2003 he deservedly won the MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest ahead of 49 other DJs. He knows how to always incorporate that certain something into his sets like no other. The brilliant mixing and track selection shows that there are 30 years of experience behind the decks. He makes music with the heart for the hearts and souls, which he captures with his “age-appropriate techno”.
